  • Begining to One of my stories

    Before I post my story, I have to say that I will finish the thing for the fourth of July...just not right now. Anyway, here is my story.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A Rebellion for Confidence
    Time drifts slowly by as I count the days until I get out of here. The walls seem to close in on me as I stare at everything and nothing. That time is drawing near, but it hardly feels like it’s coming fast. I feel the stress creeping up on me, and I can’t seem to shake it loose. I ask so many times, “How much more can I take?” I never seem to get an answer, but then again, no one is here to tell me.  I would ask those around me, but I doubt they know the answer, either.  The people who surround me feel the same way.  All we seem to do now is complain about the things that don’t seem to matter anymore. We don’t know what to do.  All this waiting makes us feel more insane than we already are.
                The adults tell us what we should know, but by now I don’t think that too many people actually care about it all.  Many of them think about how life will be when they get out of here. Plenty more people only wish for it all to be over. I, on the other hand, can’t wait for the adventure that lies beyond this place. The adults, though, tell us that what we expect after here is not what we wish for. Some question what they know. After all, they stayed here. We know that, in the end, they were the ones who were too afraid to leave or were tourists who just couldn’t leave the magic behind.  We, younger people have decided that everything here is not what we want, but no one knows how to change this place.
                The adults say that they try to protect us from the outside.  They tell us stories of what happens to those who leave, none of which are ever pleasant.  There have been many people who tell us that we must obtain something in order to be able to survive here happily.  I guess that is what everyone is trying to find out. Some aren’t even sure they want to find out what is on the other side of this wall.  The King himself has given up on us, as the adults have given up on leaving here.  Our mayor of the village does not want anyone who happens on this village ever to leave.
                The children, including me, want to change what the village is like, but we have yet to find a way to change it.  Only knowing that we have to obtain something has everyone deciding to go on a journey, but no one knows what it is that we have to obtain.  Some have decided to form groups, while others have decided to go by themselves.  I decided to leave with my best friend, Alcina, who has always been with me, no matter what happens.
    ~~~~~~~~~~

    To be continued...

    So yeah, I decided to put this up here. No, it isn't all I have, but it's all that I decided to put up there right now, so there.

    Talk to you  all later...

  • 4th of July Madness

        Part One: Introductions

            Opening up the candies; the Hersheys, the Reeses, and the M&Ms among other snack foods, Nick and I swiftly got ready for our 4th of July Party. I was gradually becoming more ecstatic, while Nick was intrigued of what was to come, with every passing moment of our preparations. All in all, the stockings were hung by the chimney with care in hopes that…wait! This isn’t the right story for that. Anyway, back to the preparations, or at least what was left of them. Nick and I plucked out all the chips that we thought would be needed for the party along with putting all the marshmallows and other smore ingredients in a nice brown paper bag that was most likely gotten from a store.

    Having finished with gathering everything and finding that we had enough time to do something fun, I conned Nick into playing a nice short game of Mario Kart Double Dash, which of course meant playing the All Cup Tour which had us play all 16 courses.

                Forty-five minutes into the game, a ring interrupted our play, where we found out that Sara had arrived. We asked Sara if she wanted to play a game, any of her choice, but she declined saying she wanted to watch us play our not-so-quite-short-game of Double Dash.  Finishing the game, we ended up persuading Sara to try playing the Wii once again with our masterful directions and advice. Sara insisted that playing the Wii was too confusing with the controls, but she ended up attempting to play Mario Party 8 with us.

    Anyway, tomorrow I'm thinking about going to see a movie with some friends. ^_^ I can't wait. Of course I have to call them up tomorrow. And the 4th of July Madness will be continued tomorrow.

  • .Hack//

    .Hack// rules my life... Anyway I most likely won't be seen much on the computer with my obsession of .Hack// especially since I recently bought .Hack//GU Reminisce.  It's an amazing game! I'm not sure if it's better than the original .Hack// but it is really good. Of course I have other .Hack// stuff that is also keeping me occupied...so yeah. Talk to everyone later...hopefully.

  • ...

    So, yesterday was pretty good. My birthday was okay except for my sister being a pain in the butt. My mom and my sister got in a fight in the morning yesterday, while my sister and I kind of got in a fight later in the day. Work was nice though. I got to have cupcakes and I had also gotten a card from work.  Not too much to say about yesterday though.

    Anyway, I'm looking forward to the 4th of July Parade. I'm going to be in it for the Library which will be fun as always. We're having a float this time, and our theme is space. Especially because of the reading program thing. I'm going to be wearing an  orange wig. ^_^ That'll be cool. I just have to figure out the space outfit thing I'm going to wear.

    Before I forget, we were driving through the Woods of Antioch and I saw that the sign said the o of Antioch. Somehow the other letters disappeared.

    Talk to everyone later! ^_^
